NOTICE TO CALLERS
“By calling this business number, you consent to receive one automated SMS if your call is missed. Your phone number will only be used to send this follow-up message in direct response to your call. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.”
๐ฑ Important Notice for Callers
If you have called a business that uses LeadReply and received an automated text message, this page explains your rights, how to opt out, and how our messaging service works.
1. How Customer Consent Is Obtained
LeadReply operates a missed call auto-reply SMS service for local businesses. Our service works as follows:
- A customer calls a business phone number that is registered with LeadReply
- The call goes unanswered (the business does not pick up)
- The caller hears an automated voice greeting that explicitly informs them they will receive a text message
- LeadReply automatically sends one SMS message to the caller on behalf of the business
- The SMS is sent as a direct response to the caller's own inbound call attempt
โ
Consent method: End-users are explicitly informed they will receive an SMS before the message is sent. When a call goes unanswered, the caller hears the following automated voice greeting prior to receiving any text message:
๐ Caller Voice Greeting โ Exact Script
“Thank you for calling. We are unable to answer right now. You will receive a text message from us shortly so we can help you. Reply STOP to that message at any time to opt out.”
This voice greeting ensures every caller is explicitly informed they will receive an SMS before the text message is sent. The caller then receives the automated SMS only after hearing this notification. No caller receives a text without first being informed via this voice greeting.
โ
Consent mechanism summary: Caller dials the business number โ hears voice greeting notifying them of an upcoming SMS โ automated SMS is sent as a direct response โ caller can reply STOP at any time to opt out. No unsolicited messages are ever sent.
